  1. Here is another reason why DC decimates Marvel…..

Watchmen&DarkKnightReturns-Considered the best graphic novels of all time

    1. @Drsoe08 speak for urself fanboy, not a single comic on this list can come close to Daredevil born again, dark Phoenix,God loves man kills, kraven’s last hunt, the entire Claremont run on the X men(which is the best comic run.period)

    2. El Riatón Vaquero I’m not like that though. I don’t think I’m edgy and cool because I read DC. And I certainly don’t like marvel just for movies either which is 50% of its fan base. I read DC because the stories are more impactful and are more intersecting.

    1. TKJ is considered as one of the greatest comicbooks of all time is not because its a edgy and dark comic but its a great character and relationship study piece about Batman and Joker, also the story itself is deconstruction superhero genre, about a hero and villain locked in a never ending battle/conflict.

  2. +The DK, Diamond Queen, where’s Marvel on this list? Where are their greatest novels? Oh, yeah, I forgot, they don’t have them.

    1. @Alex Montana False. Death of Gwen Stacy, God Loves Man Kills, Old Man Logan, Kraven’s Last Hunt, Maximum Carnage etc. Try again fanboy

    2. @Dimension Zone And?
I’m not a fanboy, only a comicbook fan, but Marvel hasn’t a lot of good comics, is a few number

    3. @Alex Montana Yes it is a materpiece. But for your point on thier being few should i make a list on how thats not true. Keep in mind thier 4 or 5 that can be named that are ranked as some of the most genre changing comic stories in history

    4. @Dimension Zone Yes, it’s true. But I say that because I really love Born Again, it’s one of my favorite comics.
Marvels is another good comic too.

  3. Why in the holy hell were you playing clips of The Last Man on Earth with Y The Last Man? Other than having the words “Last Man” in their titles, the two aren’t even remotely related to each other.

  4. Using movie clips in this takes away from the focus on the unique graphic novel medium. Alan Moore was totally against any film adaptation of his work.

    1. yeah. the reason is that he argues that making a comic adaptation defears the purpose of his work. in comics, the possiblities are endless, whereas movies you could do so much

    2. I think that they should have shown way less clips but some were good. And sorry, Alan but the Watchmen movie didn’t capture everything he wanted to express on paper but it was a good adaptation. And this guy made The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen, a group of people such as Captain Nemo, Allan Quatermain, Jekyll and Hyde, Griffin, etc. Those aren’t his characters

    1. i know right, it’s great but i’m in the first chapter for like, months. i did not have this problem with watchmen or v for vendetta.

    1. If you think Marvel produces mediocre stories you probably haven’t read most of them. Ever heard of Marvels, Secret Wars, Civil War, Old Man Logan, Secret Invasion, House of M?
I didn’t even mention some of marvels ongoing series which include in them some of the greatest comicbook stories ever told.

    3. @drose08 I have to admit most of the newer marvel comics are trash compared to the older ones but I think that’s because alot of the stories aren’t staying true to the characters there telling about.
for example theyre changing alot of their characters for political reasons, like making iceman gay for no reason and changing iron man into some teenage black girl.

    1. @Henri Olson Both Are Great

Frank Miller: TDK, Sin City, 300, Daredevil Born Again, Batman: Year One
Alan Moore: Watchmen, V for Vendetta, Batman the killing joke, From Hell

What do you think, I personally like both.

    1. its a well known fact that DC created more iconic and diverse stories while Marvel is still stuck with the supehero genre.
