    1. @jessethereader If you ever get the chance to check out Yotsuba, I recommend it – it’s the cutest manga about a 5 year girl. 🙂

    1. Read the first one at age 7 and I couldn’t go into my basement in the dark for years!!! XD But re read it a while ago and I LOVE it. :3

    2. You should! I’ve read the entire series and I’m currently waiting until Sep. 25th, 2018 (the date book 8 comes out). It has made me hate Christmas because around that time people start talking about ELVES. I have nothing against elves, in fact, the elves in the series are my favorite characters. It’s just most people THINK they know what an elf looks like, but they don’t.

  1. I am so glad I picked “The Gigantic Beard that was Evil” at a random thriftshop in the free books pile last Summer. I just read it during the Booktubeathon and LOVED it

  2. I just read Nimona.  It was excellent and very entertaining.   Just so witty at times.   It made me excited for the adaptation of my own novel into a graphic novel in the coming months.

    1. I loved Nimona too it’s really good and funny but i don’t know what to read next my school don’t have many graphic novels

  3. I loved Seconds!! But my favorite graphic “novel” (it’s a memoir) by far is Blankets by Craig Thompson! You should totally check it out

  4. I love when people take their time to actually show the art of the graphic novels other than just talk about the summary. Great recommendations, Jesse 😉

  5. Definitely recommend the “Bone” series!! It’s quirky and fun, but also has a really nice action packed and adventurous storyline.

  6. Definitely recommend the “Bone” series!! It’s quirky and fun, but also has a really nice action packed and adventurous storyline.

    1. Do you read non-fiction comics? I just published 4 comic books called ‘Figuring Out White People’. 4 volumes. I have plenty of amazing posts on Instagram too. My comics are meant to dispel the myths and misconceptions people around the world hold of white folk and western culture. Lots of interesting historical and cultural facts. Give it a look 🙂

  7. Omg when you mentioned Anya’s Ghost I screamed in excitement cause that’s my favorite graphic novel and book of all time~!!! 😁😁😁
