  1. Super interested in seeing that tbr!! Earlier this year I read the graphic novel version of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and the artwork was phenomenal!!

  2. You’re videos are literally amazing! I have been looking forward to them everyday! Thank you for always putting me in a good mood! I would really like to see the video on the graphic novels you want to read!

  3. I’m really loving Sweet Tooth so far! I’ve read the first two trade paperback volumes and it’s fantastic 👍🏻

I’d definitely recommend Locke & Key if you haven’t read that series yet!

  4. Thank you! I’ve been wanting to get more into graphic novels. Ones on my TBR include: Here, by Richard McGuire; Daytripper, by Gabriel Ba and Fabio Moon; Lighter than my Shadow, by Katie Green; and now pretty much everything mentioned in this video!

  5. my favorite is probably The Sculptor by Scott McCloud, it has gorgeous art style. I LOVE broad city so I’ll checkout octupus pie

    1. I read his Understanding Comics in a university class. I found it really funny and interesting – a very nice way of talking about what makes comics what they are. 🙂 I would really like to read The Sculptor at some point.

  6. Great picks! May I also recommend Descender (Jeff Lemire!), I Kill Giants, and Monstress (all Image Comics because I currently work there)? I think you would really like them!

  7. Hey Dana 😄 great recommendations! most of them are already on my tbr 🙂 my favourite graphic novels are Saga, Seconds and Blankets. I also liked Fables (the first volumes were a little slow but still interesting. once it picked up it became really good! but I’m still on vol. 4)

  8. My favorite graphic novels are Persepolis, V for Vendetta and Maus
Beautiful, beautiful reads, I’d love to hear your opinion on them in the future 🙂

  10. Runaways was one the reason I got into comics. I have to comics issues back in 2003 around that time Y the last man also came one.. Brian K Vaughn is sickk..

  11. Lots of graphic novels I didn’t even know about. Good to see so many different styles. I’m drawing a graphic novel at the moment in my own style.

  12. I just finished book 1 of Saga. I loved it and bought the second immediately. I wasn’t aware that Runaways is by the same author. I’ll have to check it out.
