  1. You forgot the retelling of the back story of gwen Stacy where Norman Osborn got her pregnant because she was cheating on Parker with him? Yeah that one wasn’t appropriate at all

    1. I heard about that one. I’m grateful I missed it. That’s when I knew that Marvel Incorporated had lost the last bit of its soul….

    2. @Doctor Swood The Gwen Stacy one is the least controversial one on the list. There are plenty of cheaters in the real world. If she had lived in the main 616 universe, she could have sued Norman Osborn or his estate for child support and lived like queen.

  2. When you said “Lois Lane goes black and then goes back,” I thought of something other than the storyline where she changed skin color…

  3. I’m with Cap. I don’t get why Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch feel like having “fun”.

    1. @TheBasaltHorogium

Now think about the fact that Peter’s so obsessed with his mom that he sold Mary Jane’s love and their unborn baby to Mephisto in order to unnaturally prolong her life.

I’ll bet when he watches Psycho, he takes notes.

    2. @DejaVoodooDoll Marvel writers really need some therapy then. And need to be tested on how they handle children.

  4. I don’t understand why people complain about tigra wearing a bikini when cheetah over at dc doesn’t even wear clothes half the time.

    1. @Lia Rose that’s their problem. Tigra was a comic character, not a real one. Lookat the man in every comic character.

  5. I don’t understand their take on black Lois lane, super man didn’t avoid the question. He explains that skin color doesn’t matter because he is an alien with metal for skin. Superman avoided the answering the marriage question in general because he has always avoided the idea of marrying Lois lane

    1. Actually this was taken from a book where the author used tanning lotion to turn his skin darker. The book is called โ€œBlack Like Meโ€.

  6. I don’t know, Gwen Stacy sleeping with Norman Osbourne behind Peter Parker’s is pretty inappropriate. The fact she got pregnant and…yeah. That was bad.

    1. Exactly! Who the heck thought this was a good story to publish? Not only does it essentially ad more BS to Spider-man’s life, it also paints a nasty picture in all our heads

  7. No mention of how Peter Parker basically casually talks about how he was raped by an older man and it’s never brought up again?

    1. It’snot cannon in 616. Maybe, just maybe, by the time its published, its John Byrne’s Spide-Man: Chapter One univrse. But, I’m not so sure, either.

    2. It was the spiderman and power pack comic and it was an older friend of peters named skip westcot and it was never retconed out of continuity

  8. This is my first time hearing about “swimsuit editions” of comic books and I’m immediately invested… for… private reasons

    1. That was my reaction too! I mean if you’ve ever wanted to know why they call Hank Mccoy “Beast” now you know ๐Ÿ˜‰

  9. There was the one panel scene where Prof X’s thoughts revealed he was in love with teenage Jean Grey, and the time Baron Karza in Xavier’s body gave underaged Danielle Moonstar a psychic orgasm and made her like it.

  10. “Aunt May Sex, three words I want to never ever imagine”.

And then Spiderman Homecoming came out and turned things all upside down on you.

    1. The whole Ms. Marvel/ Captain Marvel series had some SERIOUS issues with political correctedness and morality!!!

  11. Super girl having sex with a horse that turned into a man who was actually her son who became his own father ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธ
Iโ€™m still trying to scrub that one out my mind.
